Some big news in the football world - Eden Hazard, the former Chelsea star and Real Madrid winger, has decided to retire from professional football. This comes after he left Real Madrid over the summer.

Eden, who is 32 years old, made a big move to Real Madrid in 2019 for a whopping £89 million. Before that, he had a fantastic run at Chelsea, where he helped them win the Premier League and Europa League.

Unfortunately, injuries became a big challenge for Hazard during his time in Madrid. He played only 54 league games, and in the last season, which was 2022/23, he could only manage to play six matches. That's not a lot for a player of his caliber.

But here's the amazing part - even with his limited game time at Real Madrid, Eden Hazard still managed to win some of the biggest trophies in football. He got his hands on the Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup, two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups. That's an impressive list!

During his time at Chelsea, he was a goal-scoring machine, netting an incredible 110 goals in 352 appearances. He also helped Chelsea secure the Premier League title twice. That's a massive achievement!

It's always a bit sad to see a talented player like Hazard leave the football field, but we're sure he'll have plenty of exciting adventures ahead. Maybe we'll see him in a different role within the football world, or maybe he'll pursue something completely new. Whatever he chooses, we wish him all the best!

So, let's all take a moment to celebrate the incredible career of Eden Hazard and wish him a fantastic future, filled with success and happiness!
